
Splash hits & driverless rides don’t miss! San Francisco Giants player Joc Pederson, and his brother Champ, take their first Cruise around San Francisco.
To kick off Joc Pederson Bobblehead Day sponsored by Cruise, we teamed up with Designated Hitter Joc Pederson, and his brother Champ, to experience their first-ever driverless ride with Cruise. The videos were shared in-stadium on game day, and across social media from Cruise, the Giants, Joc, and Champ. Digital takeovers on the web also gave fans the chance to win a signed Joc jersey courtesy of Cruise.
This collaboration led to further opportunities for Cruise promotions at the ballpark as we became the official sponsor of the in-game t-shirt toss, and of the Giants’ ultimate fan section, The 415 Club. In the designated 415 section we created unique fan experiences for fans to take photos as a Giants baseball card, receive unique swag exclusive to The 415, and receive special member ride promos.
As Creative Director, I worked closely with SFG partners, Cruise marketing partners, and Joc’s agent to ensure Joc and Champ were prepared and comfortable. I collaborated with and directed the Production team on-set and in post-production of the final videos, and creative directed the designed assets that were used in activations at the ballpark.
