Veteran Voices

A three-part series highlighting members of the group Veterans at Cruise, who have found community and common ground in their civilian careers at Cruise.

Since veterans are familiar with large-scale operations, defense, and mechanics, many of them make perfect candidates to work on driverless cars. However, with driverless technology being a nascent industry, most veterans are unaware of their translatable skills. For Cruise to recruit more veterans and their complimentary skills, we developed a series with employees, and members of the community group, Veterans at Cruise to share their experiences from the military, working at Cruise, and the communities they’ve found since leaving the military.

As Creative Director, I worked directly with the head of Veterans at Cruise to ensure their stories were shared in a thoughtful and accurate way. I collaborated with Cruise Production to create an intimate atmosphere that allowed for everyone to feel comfortable and heard.
